SMOKE/CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR INSTALLATION
If there are two things every home needs it’s a smoke detector along with a carbon monoxide detector. Both are some of the most overlooked devices in your home, but both provide essential safety protections for your family. In case of a fire or carbon monoxide, these alarms will save your life. It’s critical that both devices are correctly installed and on every floor of your home, and near the bedrooms. Altruistic takes our installation services very seriously because we know what’s at stake when it comes to keeping your family safe.
FURNACE TUNE-UP
One of the most effective ways to maintain a healthy heating system for when winter rears its ugly head is by doing an annual checkup. While winter doesn’t last long in Texas, it’s important to make sure your furnace is working at top shape considering we’re not used to the cold, and this is a preventable way to avoid carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Plus, a tune-up is an easy way to improve your indoor air quality.
The service includes:
- Flush primary drain line
- Visually inspect heat exchange
- Clean & adjust burners
- Gas pressure & flame inspection
- Igniter/pilot light inspection
- Inspect filter and airflow inspection
- Check for carbon monoxide in the system and determine if CO alarm needs to be replaced
- Replace filter(s) –
if provided or available for purchase - Clean flame sensor
- Blower wheel inspection
- Evaporator coil inspection
